The Dhansiri Irrigation Project (Major) is a major irrigation project with an estimated potential of 77230 Ha (AIA) & estimated cost of Rs.566.85 Cr. (3rd revised). The up to-date potential created is 73330 Ha (AIA). A total number of 175 villages (out of targeted 251) have already been benefitted by this project. So far 50 numbers of Water User Associations have been formed in the project area. The physical progress as of now is 99.50% and it is targeted to be completed by the end of September 2022.
